As the Photo Section Editor for The Daily Gamecock and member of the National Press Photographers Association, Schorr adeptly honed his skills in sports photojournalism and storytelling. Notably, his commitment led him to be selected as the lead Photojournalist for the 2023 Women’s Final Four tournament in Dallas, Texas. Schorr and his team were recognized with an honorable mention for the 2023 Multimedia Story of the Year by the Associated Collegiate Press national competition for a piece produced at the Final Four. Schorr’s dedication to educating aspiring photographers resulted in an elusive internship with the New York Racing Association, where he served as a broadcast production assistant for Fox Sports and FS1 & FS2. There he documented stakes race winners like Forte & 149th Kentucky Derby champion Mage.  Looking ahead, Schorr envisions carving a path into the realm of digital media videography, with a specific focus on creating compelling content for live events such as sports, music, and other gatherings.
